James Coffey

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Master's in Science Education from Indiana University, Jim taught elementary public school for 12 years. During that time he developed a love and respect for the unique musical needs of children. In 1994, he turned all his attention to working full-time in children’s entertainment and formed his own music production company Blue Vision Music.

Over the years he has earned a reputation for quality and craftsmanship that has made him one of the most sought after children’s producers, arrangers and songwriters in the business. His work has been featured on over 80 children's videos, dozens of CDs, television and over 500 children's products from plush toys to musical toothbrushes which are sold all over the globe. His songs have appeared on such brand named products as Disney, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, Fisher Price, Encyclopedia Britannica, Mattel, Hasbro, Care Bears, American Idol and many more.

Georgean Johnson-Coffey

As president of Blue Vision Music, Georgean oversees marketing, promotion, sales, customer service and business administration. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology as well as a Master's in Education. Her experience in the nonprofit field, holding executive positions and as an independent consultant, has equipped her with a sensitivity to all our client's needs. Georgean has worked as a consultant with many national organizations including Goodwill, M.A.D.D. and The Points Of Light Foundation. She'll make sure every project is done right and to the complete satisfaction of every client.
