Georgean Johnson–Coffey and James Coffey. While Jim is an award-winning children's songwriter, recording artist & performer, Georgean has spent many years working in nonprofit organizations and now masterfully handles the PR, marketing and customer service.  After
earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Master's in Science
Education from Indiana University, Jim taught elementary public school
for 12 years. During that time he developed a love and respect for the
unique musical needs of children. In 1994, he turned all his attention
to working full-time in children’s entertainment and formed his
own music production company Blue Vision Music. Over the years he has
earned a reputation for quality and craftsmanship that has made him
one of the most sought after children’s producers, arrangers and
songwriters in the business. His work has been featured on videos, CDs,
television and toys all over the globe. From Jazz to Pop, Classical
to Reggae, Jim brings his own award–winning talents, experience
and creativity to every project. To date, Jim has personally won 5 consecutive
national awards as well as being featured in such publications as the
Chicago Sun–Times, LA Times & The Wall Street Journal. His
own CDs have been critically acclaimed and chosen as “Editor’s
Choice” from both Woman’s Day Magazine and Sesame Street Parent
Magazine. |
 As
president of Blue Vision Music, Georgean oversees marketing, promotion,
sales, customer service and business administration. She holds a Bachelor's
Degree in Sociology as well as a Master's in Education. Her experience
in the nonprofit field, holding executive positions and as an independent
consultant, has equipped her with a sensitivity to all our client's
needs. Georgean has worked as a consultant with many national organizations
including Goodwill, M.A.D.D. and The Points Of Light Foundation. She'll
make sure every project is done right and to the complete satisfaction
of every client. |
